Build during the event
Core product work must happen during the official hackathon window. Existing open-source libraries and personal utilities are allowed when disclosed.

Teams stay at five
Only the five participants assigned in the platform may build and present the submission.

Use Codex meaningfully
Teams must demonstrate where Codex accelerated, improved, or changed their development workflow.

Ship a working path
A focused end-to-end prototype is valued over a broad concept deck or disconnected mockups.

Protect people and data
Do not use private personal data without permission. Clearly label simulated data and AI-generated output.

Credit what you use
List external APIs, datasets, models, assets, and significant open-source components.

Submit by 14:00
The final form, repository, demo, and presentation are due before project presentations begin at 14:00. Late submissions are marked for jury review.

Keep the pitch concise
Each team has three minutes to pitch and demonstrate, followed by two minutes of jury questions.
